Roadworks on the A3 between Hook and Tolworth might not finish until the middle of next week.

Drivers reported delays of up to 4 hours yesterday after two lanes were closed off northbound.

Emergency repairs are being carried out to a section of wall under the footbridge.

Transport for London has apologised and says the works are not connected to the previous upgrade of Tolworth Roundabout.
