Heathrow passengers will no longer need to remove liquids or electronic devices from their hand luggage at security.

The airport says its new scanners are now in place across all terminals following a £1 billion upgrade.

Heathrow claims the changes mean 97% of passengers are clearing security in under five minutes.

More than 23 million people are expected to travel through the airport over the summer holidays.
