Volunteers and Friends groups in Hounslow are being recognised for the work they do to care for the borough’s parks and green spaces.

The council’s marking Love Parks Week by celebrating the people who help improve local areas for both residents and wildlife.

Projects have included planting trees, creating playgrounds and maintaining nature reserves across the borough.

Residents are being encouraged to join a local park group and get involved.
