Harriet Dart’s return to tennis action after the disappointment of her first-round exit at Wimbledon has ended in defeat.

The British number five lost in straight sets to fourth seed Maria Sakkari at the Athens Open.

Dart, who got a wild card at the All-England Club, went out in the opening round against former grand slam champion Jelena Ostapenko.
