Reservoir storage currently stands at 72% down from 75% a week ago and nearly 10-percentage points below the long-term average for the time of year.
Three are now classed as having “exceptionally low” levels including Blagdon and Wimbleball in Somerset, and Hanningfield in Essex.
Meanwhile, Wisley has gone 45 consecutive days without recording any rainfall, with its dry spell having started on the 17th of June.
