People living near Heathrow who don’t have a dropped kerb are being warned against mounting the pavement to get on their driveways.

Bollards or barriers are being installed across Hillingdon borough to protect public highways.

Driving over a pavement or grass verge without an authorised vehicle crossover is illegal.

Under the new process, property owners will receive an initial warning letter explaining the breach and how they can remedy it.
