A first floor flat has been destroyed and part of the loft of a semi-detached house converted into flats was damaged by fire in Sutton.
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to the fire on Warwick Road around 10.30 today.
One of the Brigade’s 32-metre turntable ladders was used at the scene as a water tower to tackle flames from height.
Three people were taken to hospital by ambulance and the fire was brought under control by 12.30pm
