Save Wimbledon Park has been trying to have plans to expand the All England Club into nearby Wimbledon Park thrown out.
They claim the land is subject to a statutory trust under a 150-year-old law which restricts its use.
But in March, a High Court Judge ruled the statutory trust did not exist.
The Court of Appeal has now granted SWP permission to challenge the ruling with the hearing expected to be held next year.
