Sports pavilions, scout huts and community halls across Reigate and Banstead are in the process of being transferred to community groups.

They’ll be looked after by other organisations after the borough council ceases to exist following Devolution next April.

£5.7 million is being awarded in grants to help these organisations operate the buildings.

Assets being handed over include Chipstead Rugby Football Club Pavilion and Kingswood Village Hall.
