A coalition of conservation organisations is joining forces with Surrey Fire and Rescue to warn of the dangers of wildfires in the country.

These types of blazes are largely caused by human activity, with people being told to avoid BBQs altogether in open spaces.

Increasing temperatures also means that disposing of smoking materials properly is a must.

Organisations partnering on the message include Surrey Wildlife Trust and The National Trust Surrey Hills.
