Drivers have reported delays of up to 4 hours today because of lane closures on the A3 Northbound between Hook and Tolworth.
A TfL spokesperson said: “Safety is our top priority and following an inspection, we are carrying out emergency repairs to a section of wall under the footbridge on the northbound carriageway of the A3 at Tolworth Junction. Lane closures are necessary to ensure the safety of the infrastructure and people using it. We are sorry for any disruption in the area and are working hard to complete these vital repairs by the middle of next week.”
The works are unconnected to previous works on Tolworth Roundabout.
