Three new children’s homes have opened their doors in Epsom and Walton.

A number of existing properties across Surrey have also been renovated thanks to a £34 million council investment.

The move will result in an overall gain of more than 30 additional bedrooms for individual children in homes within the county.

Around 70% of children needing residential homes are placed out of Surrey at the moment due to a lack of appropriate properties.
