Surrey Police stopped over 80 vehicles and made 5 arrests as part of two-day intensive action to combat rural crime across Surrey.

The multi-agency mission took place over Friday and Saturday last week and involved checkpoints, patrols and drone activity.

Three people were processed for potential waste disposal offenses at a vehicle checkpoint in Addlestone.

Over 20 officers carried out patrols in Mole Valley, which led to four men being stopped in Shere for potential poaching activity.
