Surrey Police held a “Policing Your Community” event in Spelthorne with residents, senior officers and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

The meeting focused on concerns including gambling premises, antisocial behaviour, drugs and shoplifting in the area.

Officers also provided an update on the Safer Ashford project, which they say is helping reduce crime in parts of Spelthorne.

A follow-up virtual session will take place on Tuesday 21 July from 18:00–19:30.
