Richmond Park’s MP says she’s worried that policing the royal parks will fall to local neighbourhood police teams if officers are axed.

The Met Police, which is in charge of the dedicated force is looking to address a £450 million budget shortfall.

Royal Parks officers are responsible for policing London’s eight iconic Royal parks including Richmond and Bushy.

Lib Dem MP, Sarah Olney, says funding needs to be increased for the Met Police in general.
