Police forces across the country, including Surrey, will take part in Operation Recall this Easter weekend.

They’re joining up with animal welfare charities like the RSPCA to raise awareness of keeping dogs away from livestock.

There’s been a 50% increase in costs associated with dog attacks on livestock since 2019.

That’s according to the National Farmers’ Union Mutual Rural Crime Report 2023.

Figures suggest that, as a consequence of attacks on farm animals, at least one dog is killed every week.
