Planning permission has been granted for the first stage of a £30million project to restore the Selsdon Park Hotel.

The estate, in Addington Road, dates back over 1,000 years and has historic associations with King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I.

It was bought by AB Boutique Hotels earlier this year after standing vacant since 2023.

They want to turn it into a “luxury hotel destination.”
