People living in a part of Roehampton will wake up to the sound of church bells for the first time in 125 years on Sunday.

When Holy Trinity was built in Ponsonby Road, there were only two bells in the tower, limiting ringing opportunities.

But thanks to a campaign, grants, and financial gifts, new bells have been installed in the tower and will be rung out at 9.30am.

There will also the opportunity for residents to climb to the top of the tower and see Roehampton as you’ve never seen it before.
