MPs have this afternoon approved the Pet Abduction Bill. It was proposed by Southend West MP, Anna Firth, and backed by charity, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. The Bill will make stealing pets a specific criminal offence. The next stage is to see it passed in the Lords.
