Officers were called to Headley Road between the by-pass and Lee Green Lane shortly before 7:30am on Sunday the 24th May.
The 18-year-old driver of a grey Peugeot 2008 was taken to hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a Mercedes white box van.
Anyone with any information, dashcam footage or may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact police on 101.
