Five designs have been shortlisted for a permanent memorial to Queen Elizabeth the Second outside Buckingham Palace.

There’s a provisional budget of £46-million for the project and the public is being asked to give feedback on the proposals.

One design, headed by Foster and Partners in Battersea, features her late Majesty on a horse on top of a plinth.

Public funds will pay for the memorial and the Queen Elizabeth Memorial Committee will select a winner.
