More than 49,000 trees and hedgerows have been planted across Surrey over the last year.
The County Council says it brings the total to over 700,000 since 2019.
The authority is planning to plant 1.2 million trees by 2030 which is one for every Surrey resident.
Trees provide numerous benefits including producing oxygen, absorbing carbon dioxide and offering habitats for wildlife.
