25 firefighters were called to a block of flats on Ellisfield Drive just before 3 o’clock on Saturday afternoon.
A balcony was completely destroyed and half of a three-roomed flat on the first floor was damaged.
The fire is believed to be accidental, and investigators believe there were no smoke alarms at the property.
