Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire involving a garage at a house on Holmesdale Road in Teddington this morning.
The garage was destroyed and half of external scaffolding and part of the loft of the detached house were damaged by fire. There were no reports of any injuries.
The Brigade’s Control Officers took the first of four calls to the fire at 8.55am and sent crews from Twickenham, Kingston, Surbiton and Wimbledon fire stations to the scene. The fire was under control by 10.35am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
