Authorities say they believe a man who died during turbulence on board a plane from Heathrow to Singapore had health issues.

23 other people also received minor injures last night and the Singapore Airlines flight was diverted to Bangkok.

The man , a 73-year-old British passenger, is believed to have had a cardiac arrest.

The plane was said to have been cruising at 37,000ft before dropping 6,000ft in around three minutes.
