Around 7,600 babies were born at St Helier, Epsom and St George’s hospitals last year.

34 people on average also visited one of the three A&Es every hour, and outpatient appointments topped one-million.

240 tonnes of waste was recycled at Epsom and St Helier, while at St George’s, it was 695 tonnes between April 2022 and March 2023.

The NHS Trust says last year was a challenging one for the hospital group.
