Richmond Park MP, Sarah Olney says the Met Police Service told her it may be considering cutting funding for the officers based in Richmond Park.
She says although no decisions have been made, she can’t see how existing officers can patrol 2,500 acres of parkland as well.
Ms Olney’s survey can be found on her website for those who want to take part.
A Met spokesperson has told Jackie News.
“We have been clear on the financial challenges we face and continue to have productive discussions with The Mayor and Home Office to ensure we have the resources to police London effectively.”
“As expected we are carefully planning for any tough choices we may have to make to ensure we live within the means of our future budget, but no final decisions have been made.”
