47 year old Joanne Vickery, admitted the assault last October when she appeared in court this morning.
The woman had been brought into Staines after being arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
After being placed in a cell, she assaulted Vickery through the cell door.
Vickery then went into the cell and assaulted her.
This was captured on the custody suite’s CCTV and was reported after staff spotted it while they were downloading CCTV footage.
Vickery was placed on restricted duties while the investigation was carried out.
Following her conviction, disciplinary action will now be considered by the Force’s Professional Standards Department.
