A man from Surrey who was arrested after Sir Keir Starmer had glitter poured over him at the Labour Party conference has been bailed.

The 28 year old heckler was arrested by Merseyside Police on suspicion of assault, breach of the peace and causing public nuisance.

The force says the man had been bailed pending further enquiries.
