It will mark one month since a 27 year old cyclist was killed while she crossed the bridge.

Organiser, London Cycling Campaign, says it wants “rapid action, safe cycling and an end to the toll of serious and fatal collisions here.”

Transport for London, which manages the bridge, initiated a number of safety improvements following the death of a jogger in 2021.

A spokesperson says a brand-new signalised pedestrian crossing on the north side of the bridge has been installed among other measures.

TfL has also consulted on plans for the next phase.
