A school in Beddington has gone from ‘special measures’ to ‘outstanding’ in just three years.

Beddington Park Academy in Mallison Road is celebrating after the latest Ofsted inspection which resulted in the highest possible rating.

Inspectors visited the school for the first time since it joined the STEP Academy Trust in 2020.

The Trust says it has implemented a rigorous programme of improvement, which was tailored to the specific needs of the school.
