A petition signed by over 1,000 people in Hounslow has been handed to the council.

The document calls for a decision to dim streetlights across the borough at night to be reversed.

The petition was presented to Hounslow’s Mayor at a cabinet meeting for consideration.

Those who have signed the petition say they worry dimming street lights will make areas less safe and lead to an increase in crime.
