A Met police officer, who worked within Hounslow, has been dismissed after being found with drugs on duty.

An officer found a package on the floor of a police building in 2022, and when tested, it was found to be cocaine.

CCTV showed DC Hashim Waseem had dropped the wrap; he was arrested, and another two packets were found on him.

He will now be added to the Barred List held by the College of Policing.
