A woman from West Byfleet who was jailed when she was pregnant says prisons are no place for babies.

Former postmistress Seema Misra was wrongly convicted over the Post Office Horizon scandal in 2010 and served four months.

Pregnant women and new mothers who are convicted of most types of crime are set to be considered for reduced sentences from judges.

The Sentencing Council announced the plans yesterday.

Seema welcomes the news.
