Officers spotted 26 year old Tassito Mateus’ uninsured moped just after 1am on October the 1st and tried to stop him on School Road.
He rode off, running a red light onto Staines Road West, before getting trapped in a dead end.
He pleaded guilty at Guildford court and has been jailed for 22 months.
