The concrete beam and slab crossing, spanning an intersection of the River Mole, is primarily used by pedestrians and light vehicles.

A recent inspection revealed a number of repairs are needed including resurfacing, while the council will also introduce a speed limit.

Funding for the works is proposed to be from a reallocation of the Leatherhead Leisure Centre dilapidations budget.

The project completed with an underspend.
