Police were called to Kirby Way on Wednesday evening after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare and public safety.
Specialist officers, including a trained negotiator, attended and the situation was brought to a safe conclusion.
Police say their priority was safety throughout and thanked residents for their patience during the operation.
