A man from Wimbledon has pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control.

27 year old Simon Van Heer was arrested following an incident in Bushy Park.

Officers were called to reports of a man and his dog being attacked by two Bully XL dogs in May last year.

Dog leads are compulsory in Bushy and Richmond Parks during the deer birthing season which runs from May the 1^st to July the 31^st.
