It follows a grant of £273,000 from the Home Office Safer Streets Fund.
It’s hoped the mobile cameras will deter anti-social behaviour and provide evidence for police and the council where needed.
The five locations are Ashley Park, Cowey Sale, Ambleside Avenue, Hepworth way and Drewitts Court Car Park.
