It’s after officers on patrol attempted to stop a Range Rover on the A3 close to Roehampton Lane in the early hours.
The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit was authorised, but a short time later, the Range Rover collided with a motorbike.
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, causing death by dangerous driving, and theft of motor vehicle.
