A charity has seen demand at its food banks across Epsom and Ewell almost double from the levels it saw during the pandemic.

The Good Company, which operates in Epsom and Ewell, said food parcels were provided to 10,720 people in 2022-2023.

It was taking part in the East Surrey Poverty Truth Commission, which brought together residents, councillors, and charities.

The government said it was providing billions of pounds in support packages.
