Police say the teenager had not long arrived from India.
Emergency services were called to a house in Ash Tree Way just after 4pm yesterday.
A man, who’s 23, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and detectives aren’t looking for anyone else.
They are now trying to trace her family.
Anyone with information that may assist the investigation, including anyone who saw or heard a disturbance on Sunday afternoon at the address in Ash Tree Way, is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference 4546/29oct.
