LINK will not be introducing ATM machines in Leatherhead and Dorking.

Mole Valley Council had requested them following the closure of a number of banks across the borough.

But LINK says that because Nationwide Building Society remains open in both towns, it won’t be installing machines.

The company, which provides cash hubs to communities who are lacking them, says competition law would also prevent installations.
