Wandsworth has now formally entered its bid for London Borough of Culture 2025.

The authority was the first London borough to publicly announce its culture campaign in June.

Since then, it has been consulting with thousands of people across the borough to formalise its bid.

The Mayor’s London Borough of Culture award was launched in 2017.

Croydon is this year’s Borough of Culture.
