The review was conducted by Andrew Maughan, who is Borough Solicitor for Camden.
It’s after a spreadsheet tallying error was identified after the declaration of the results in July.
Although all votes were properly counted and the error did not affect the election outcome, the wrong results were declared on the night.
Wandsworth council says this was a “significant oversight.”
Council officers say they have acknowledged the issues that led to the error and have repeated their apology.
Labour MP, Fleur Anderson, held on to the Putney seat on the night with a 12,488 majority.
Recommendations of the report will be discussed at a council meeting next week.
