Two women have been saved from a flat fire in Fulham.

Firefighters were called to a block on Fulham Palace Road just before 2:20 yesterday morning.

There was a small fire on the balcony of a second floor flat, and the women were rescued using breathing apparatus.

There are no reports of any injuries and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
