Two-time Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray’s defeat at the Washington Open was briefly interrupted last night.

Climate protesters threw huge tennis balls onto the court, and some demonstrators chanted about the use of fossil fuels.

Murray went a set up against Taylor Fritz but ended up losing the last 16 match which took over three hours.
