Two-time Wimbledon champion Andy Murray is out of the Stuttgart Open in the first round after losing to Marcos Giron.

The Scotsman lost in straight sets 6-3 6-4 to the American in what was Murray’s 999^th career match.

Meanwhile, Sutton’s Jack Draper’s already through to round two after a straight sets win against Sebastian Ofner.
