Two 18-year-old men have been charged after schools in Hersham were locked down following reports of someone with a weapon.

Armed officers were called to Bell Farm Way and arrested two men, who were later charged with carrying a knife in public.

Mackenzie Campos admitted the offence, while Leon Brown denied the charge.

Both men have been remanded in custody ahead of a court hearing on 20 August.
