Network Rail will shut the route for a week for “critical railway upgrades” from Saturday the 22nd of March until the 28th.
They will lay over 700 metres of new track on the 174-year-old Black Potts Railway Bridge which crosses the River Thames.
Track maintenance will also take place near Staines with train bosses warning passengers to make sure they are prepared.
